(Will also be getting my copy of Layton vs. Wright as a birthday present that week)

Arcana Heart 3 Love MAX
HYRULE WARRIORS!!!

LOL Sims 4 is out. We can FINALLY play a game worth listing.

Honestly, I'm not thrilled with anything in that list. Some are games I am curious about or would like to try, but nothing grabs me.

Here's a few games coming out in September not listed above.
Hatoful Boyfriend
Fable Anniversary
Shadowrun: Dragonfall Director's Cut Which is free for those who already have the Dragonfall content.
Gauntlet

Of the games in this very limited list, I am most interested in Gauntlet.

::Edit::
I forgot about Wasteland 2. It is due out this month and yes please.

Sims 4 is the only game worth talking about and playing. I can now create pear shaped people. It's that amazing.

I don't like EA's software extra crap. Sims is a good time, though.

I'm getting Theatrhythm 2. I hope SE sends it relatively quickly- I got the special edition.

Dunno if I'll get more for a bit- I just got Professor Layton Vs. Phoenix Wright and the Gunvolt game on 3DS.

I'm leaning over on the fence toward getting Hyrule Warriors. Game looks sick.

I'm ready for it. I'm gonna play as anyone but Link when I get the chance. Zelda, Midna, Impa, and Ghirahim look sick.

My thing about Hyrule Warriors is it seems to fan service and flash more than gameplay. All the attacks they've shown look like single button press moves. And with a combat system like that, it NEEDS to be deep and diverse. Move sets need to compliment others and the ability to combo needs to be present. And none of that button mashy just-press-a-until-everything-is-dead. For combat like this, the enjoyment I get from it is pulling off complicated combinations of moves. And I'm not entirely sure this game is going to do that. So I'm kind of on the fence too.

It seems like a standard beat 'em up type game. Not like any of the popular old school beat 'em ups had more than two buttons to attack with.

Hyrule Warrios and Super Smash Bros 3DS for me!

I never played a Dynasty Warriors game, but I did play and loved Sengoku Basara, which am I told, it's pretty much the same idea.

At least Sengoku Basara didn't have any complicated button combination for attacks. I'm also sure that the enemies won't just stand there ans wait to be hit like in the character trailers (since the focus was to watch the full attacks uninterrupted I'd say?)

I'ce been waiting for Smash Bros 4 since forever and a half. There's a few of the newcomers that I REALLY want to try, like Robin and Mii Fighters. I also want to see if my beloved Peach has gone through any change since Brawl. (There's no gameplay footage of her I think, the outrage!)

I'm honestly hoping Hyrule Warriors will be really fun as it's likely going to be the last chance I'll take at getting into the genre in general. Couldn't get into Dynasty Warriors 8 after buying it but the two main reasons for that are due to 1. Feeling overwhelmed by the ginormous cast that I knew nothing about and 2. The localization didn't do it a lot of favors with the endless, repetitive voice clips that weren't dubbed very well.

On another note, the Theatrhythm 2 demo is up on the eShop today and completing it will unlock some extra content early in the full game if you plan on getting that.

So one of the guys I watch on youtube got an early access copy of Hyrule Warriors. He was allowed to upload about half an hours worth of footage. Having seen the final product in action, it may not be as bad as I was expecting.

The combos are still super simplistic. It's any number of light attacks followed by a finishing heavy attack. Which is still a little disappointing, but the draw looks like it comes from the sheer amount of variations. Each character has a completely different move set based on their weapon, and apparently no two characters play alike (aside from the whole light attacks followed by a heavy). And the maps require a tiny bit of strategy to complete... so there is at least some method to the madness.

So my over all opinion is at least a bit more on the positive side.

iPhone 6 and 6 plus released today, so that is the biggest release of September. All those mobile games and candy crush and clash of clans in 1080p on a 5.5" screen. Who can beat that?
