So I'm having such a first world problem right now. I need to buy a workbook for therapy (~$15) and as I get like, 8 hours a week at work (when I come back on weekends) I really don't want to spend the money on it. But I also don't want to ask my parents to buy it because then they'll have to know what I'm talking about in the sessions and I really don't want them to know. So that's a thing. I'll probably just end up buying it myself but it's so sad to see my money leave me :c

Just kidding. Man, you should dress up more. Dressing up is heaps of fun! Every 6 months we do a costume party in college and last time I went as Zack, the black power ranger. I was in the middle of a very stressful time with exams and monograph defence, and preparing my costume during the week was relaxing and took my mind off things. I wore a legging and looked ridiculous but it was glorious.

I would have loved to have grown my own. But I work at a chemical plant that disallows facial hair so if ever there was a leak and we had to wear face masks, it would make a proper seal. Facial hair wouldn't be air tight.

In the past 2 weeks, I have almost quit at least 4 times. Things have gotten way out of hand.
I have a student with... attitude problems, with a mother with even bigger attitude problems. Everything I say is twisted by the child in such a way that the mother wants to sue me. They even did a mini campaign against me in school grounds. (Handing out at the entrance and classrooms an institutional mistreatment list with all the things I supposedly do to students.
I have the support of the staff, and mother and daughter should be in trouble for the little propaganda, but going to work every day wondering what are they going to do to me is exhausting.
I knew teaching would have certain challenges, but this is ridiculous.

It must be hard, man. I think it takes everyone a really long time to realize just how under-appreciated teachers are. But you have one of the most important jobs out there, Guar. Don't let one or even a few kids who don't appreciate teachers mess it up for you.

I have so much stuff to do this week it's crazy. I really need to get better at time management/stop doing so much. I am really not fond of going to bed at 2 and still knowing I have a bunch of work to do before classes start the next day.
