I just want to say right quick ->

I was listening to that central theme from Earthbound that Ix seems to like so much, called Pollyanna, I think (the vocal version), as I was wrapping up work this morning. ... And you know what? In spite of its obvious childishness and naivety (at least in the woman singing it), it is a freakin' good song. I think we humans could all do well to have a little more light and happy-go-lucky music in our lives.



And I was thinking, at about that time, the other people in the lab building who work a normal day schedule were about to start coming in, and I couldn't help but imagine that, if one of them were about to come by and insultingly ask me why I find such value in music like this (as people most often do when they learn of my eclectic taste for Japanese, classical, and old school rock music), my response would in fact be:

"Hey, you know what? ....

"


This kind of song is a natural high for a Protector of Angels like myself, ... and if they don't like it, they can cram it.
