So, band camp has started. We have a new system of learning drill too! Anyway, using the new system, we can already march the ENTIRE first song and part of the second. That's after just ONE day.

Anyway, band is from 8-12 and again from 6-9 every day.
That being said, as a Section Leader, I am constantly working (my hours for band actually stretch from about 7-2 and 5-10) and I am SORE. Anyway, band goes on all this week, then it's back to school next thursday.


Just felt like typing random things. YAY!

I go back in about 3 weeks. Funny how summer flew by this year.

Hah. At this point I wish I was at college band camp. Im a senior this year, and a section leader, so I am doing MASSIVE amounts of work. But...Band Camp is finally over! I dunno how I feel about that.

ROTC Camp is about to begin for me. Two more days... YES!

I've been done with band since June 12th at graduation.

But enjoy your last year. It goes way too fast, and then at the end people stop pissing you off and you're like "WDF was I so excited to get out for".

yeah i been done with band since graduation as well but that makes me sad more than anything. band was the most fun class ever.
your last year does go WAY to fast and as for all the extra work - if nothing else that makes it go faster.
i would think it would be an honor to be section leader - you have command, they all look up to you. i know i totally looked up to my section leader anyway and she was in the same grade as me.
