"No... don't... come... NEAR!!!" he quickly shoved him away. "Even if... I live through... this..." he was choking up. "I would be useless to you. I get my power from the Earth, but I also have to give the Earth my power. I no longer have any power, but I can still use the air force and the heat... *cough* to cumbustionize my arm... and, by focusing the energy... it will compress and explode... *cough* There's nothing... you can do... for me, but... get away... alive!" His arm was glowing blue now. The cumbustion was about to spark.

"Hmm... You seem to be suicidal, unleashing one of your race's forbidden techniques. The ultimate sacrificial move which your kind calls the Planet's Dream, if I'm not mistaken. What foolishness."

Gala swiftly moves in front of Jerod and slashes off his arm. Dammit! He unarmed one of my men!

Jerod falls to the ground, even weaker than before. "I... I can't... move..." he was wiped. It felt like he was dead, but could see. "I'm... sorry... guys... I was such a..." he forced the last words out. "Burden..." and closed his eyes. Then he opened them again. He was drowzy and couldn't think straight, but he thought he could remember something that would help him. He turned around on his back, and noticed an object. "Wings..." he whispered. He looked at his hand. It was holding something. "The Impaler..." he knew what these were. They were both gifts from the Earth. "I must... give back... to the... Earth..." he saw everything. Everything around him was a gift. Everything around him was an offering, too. "I give... a feather... from my wings... as payment to the Earth." he set his feather down gently, and watched as the Earth took it in.

While our feathered friend might be delirious I am not. I'll grab him and use my powerful legs to spring to a nearby roof if possible and continue running as quickly as I can.

Now that you think about it... I am going somewhat delerious. (OK, I'll take my meds) Jerod looked up at his savior. He was woozy, and beaten, but he knew who was helping him. "Thank you... Kajak..." he murmured. He didn't know if he would make it out of here dead or alive, but common sense told him it was the hour of his death. Either that, or it was dinner time. It's so hard to tell the difference when you're a crazy tweety-man.

Gala slowly begins to stand up. He has a smug look on his face, as if he wasn't even hurt.

"I must say, I'm having a blast. I can't even remember the last time I was knocked off my feet. Pity that I must kill all of you, but orders are orders."

Gala returns to his feet and begins to slowly approach Duelpro.

Gala readies his blade to finish off Duelpro. As the blade goes down it is parried by an unknown man.

"Can't have you dying here. You helped avenge my people by taking down Vladimir. I owe you one."

I remember this guy now. He was that half-dead survivor we ran into at Dowl. It is nice to have some reinforcements.

Jerod had never seen this man before, but judjing how he save duelpro, he must be a friend. Without thinking, he shouted "Wooooo...."

Hmmm... We're all weakened but unless this man is extremely powerful he won't be able to defeat gala on his own.

"Yo dude..can you get us out of here or create a distraction?"

Rain responds to Kajak's question.

"Uum... I really should stop doing these reckless heroics."

Gala looks back towards Onderre.

"Master, what should I do about this guy?"

"If he is in the way, kill him. You know the drill by now. I can't allow the servants of Jamos to interfere with my job. Their corpses shall be the spark that leads to the rebirth of this dying world. For I am Mav Onderre Yggra, the reviver of worlds."

Onderre... up to his old tricks. While his job is to recreate dying worlds, he is often the one causing that planet's death. He isn't allowed to directly interfere with the world or it's residents so he has his creations do the dirty work. He is a sickening creature that doesn't deserve to live. Hopefully, something can be done about him once you grow stronger... but I'm getting ahead of myself. Gala will kill this man and the lot of you. First, Kajak, you should take Jerod into the hospital while Gala is busy. The rest of you distract Gala so Rain can get a good hit on him. I suggest long distance only. This guy is pumped and ready to go for the kill. All of you better make it out of this alive. I'm counting on you.
