Seeing as there is so much down time in the creation process, I thought I'll take all the images and such used and through them all together in a single thread just for kicks and giggles. Kind of a portfolio for AA. Also (I can't believe I am actually having to say this) these images are copyrighted under L&E Productions. Please to not take them without permission first.

Okay, here is all the art featured for the game by our three talented artists. SK and I are very fortunate to have them do work for us and I'm glad to show it off. All the images here are at a much smaller resolution. When the game releases, it will come with

Also, I'm going to be working on a video for Arc Arath. I say it here so I can't back out it for whatever reason. I've been meaning to for a while now, so I'm going to try and actually sit down and do it.

All I need now is a good screen recorder...

I hope that works better for you than it does for me. Seems in my case, mentioning stuff actually delays me from doing it.

Nah, I'm pretty sure I'm going through with it. I want to make at least two. I've already got all the software I need... took a bit to get it too. So it would be a total waste to not do anything with it.

I won't be able to actually work on it till SK gets back in town though.

I'm sorry, but such spells are countered due to sigs that are aligned to the right...

Anyway, before I make anything... I'm going to mess around first with an AMV or two to try and get a feel for video editing.

I just realized something. Don't know if you've already caught it, but there's nothing to stop the player from walking onto the water in the lilypad screenshot. Water tiles can be walked on, if they're not the water's edge tiles. I recommend either using the water wallpaper (#5) instead, or lining the lilypads with the water's edge tiles.

well not really. you could make a blank character sprite in anime maker just open anime maker and then just choose save withouth doing anything and there you have an invisible tile while retaining the original look.

Nah... I went the long way around that. You can very well walk off the pads. But doing so will fade out the screen only to hear a splashing noise... you fade back in at the entrance with less HP.

I've finally recoreded all the scenes I'm going to be using for the video. And I've got say... while editing videos is fun, recording raw footage is not that fun, nay boring. I was dragging my feet the whole time... in doing so, I ran into a few glitches that weren't there last I checked.

*glares at SK with much intensity*

Anyway, I'm going to be cutting the vid pretty soon. Maybe I'll even be up by next week. I'll post it here in this thread.

Hm. Anyway. Nice video, d00d. I just noticed two things:

The music was cool at the beginning and Stuff... but then came that japanese voice crashing down and I was like, 'oh, this is just another one of those japanese female screeching voice musical videos'. Yeah, okay, the music does create a certain atmosphere, but it's like... japanese...
That may be just personal opinion, but I think that video would go better with a 'regular' song. Something less mainstream and more original (yes, japanese AMVs already became mainstream). Again, this might just be me...

And other: "Ah, it's been too long since I've gone on a killing spree..."
That is... seriously comical. Iunno, I don't know the context and More Stuff, but I laughed a lot when I read that and perhaps that's not the intention...

But yeah. Nice vid. Way to go! ^^
