A good week this week as I had plenty of time for gaming and made full use of it. A combination of some unexpected releases on the eShop and some extra money left over opened up getting a few more titles, but I ended up ahead of the curve.

New Titles:
- Chaos;Child (Vita)
- Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of the Night & Rondo of Blood (PS4)*
- Pianista: The Legendary Virtuoso (SwitchDL)
- Strikers 1945 Plus (SwitchDL)*
- 1001 Ultimate Mahjong 2 (SwitchDL)*
- Aqua TV (SwitchDL)*

Progress:
- Beat and 100%'d Warriors Orochi 4 (PS4)
- Beat and 100%'d Castlevania: Rondo of Blood
- Beat and 100%'d Castnevania: Symphony of the Night
- Beat and 100%'d Strikers 1945 Plus

I'm currently undecided on what I'll focus on next, since I'm still cleaning up on the current DLC in Warriors Orochi 4 and Senran Kagura Reflexions, so I'll decide what to start after finishing those. For on-the-go I should be done with the current book tomorrow, then maybe start a Visual Novel on Vita.

That's a whole lot of game playing.

On my end, it's just been Overwatch. Haven't played on the Switch because the games aren't interesting or they're offline for baffling reasons.

A bit of a slow week as I was unwell for a good chunk, but made up for it over the weekend with a lot of streaming. Also a few additions courtesy of some sales on Steam and PSN.

New Purchases:
- Touhou Makaku Sai~Fantastic Dream Festival (Steam)
- Runbow (Steam)*
- Castle Crashers (Steam)*
- Musynx (PS4)

Progress:
- Beat and 100%'d the Yumi Course DLC on Senran Kagura: Reflexions (Switch)
- Beat and 100%'d the Yomi Course DLC on Senran Kagura: Reflexions (Switch)

Been making slow but steady progress on Revenant Dogma on PS4 and streamed for about 10 hours on Breath of Fire Improved while also finally picking Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam for my on-the-go focus and getting started on that. Not expecting any new releases this week as one expected one got delayed, but I am awaiting a copy of a PS2 game that flew under the radar back when it was first released and I wanted to check out.

Pure progress this week as that PS2 game I mentioned hasn't shown up yet and nothing else caught my attention for the weekly digital updates.

Progress:
- Beat and 100%'d Breath of Fire Improved (SNES)
- Beat and 100%'d Revenant Dogma (PS4)
- 100%'d Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle (PS4)

Expecting the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection this week and cleaning up some shorter games at home while making continued progress on Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam for on-the-go.

I've been playing Sniper Elite V2 and it's the most fun I've had with a sniper-focused game. The zoom cam on your killshots has me always wanting to improve.

Had some great progress this week, especially over the weekend, while also picking up a few titles that were on sale.

New Games:
- SNK 40th Anniversary Collection (Switch)*
- Runner3 (PS4)*
- Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection (Vita)*
- Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD (PS4)*

Progress:
- 100%'d SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy (PS4)
- Beat the X Challenges on the Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 (PS4)
- Beat and 100%'d Mega Man X1-3 on the Legacy Collection

Still on a slow-and-steady pace on Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam for on-the-go. Based on the Expert Challenge list completion I'm about 2/3 through the main game. Hoping to finish the Platinum for the MMX Legacy Collection in the next few days, though doing so requires full runs of X4 as X and Zero, and that is the one of the four in the collection I've always considered the hardest.

Great progress this week as I wanted to clean up a couple of titles before attempting one more JRPG before Smash Ultimate's release date.

Progress:
- Beat and 100%'d Mega Man X4 on the Legacy Collection (PS4)
- 100%'d Mega Man X Legacy Collection (PS4)
- Beat and 100%'d Game Tengoku: CruisinMix (PS4)
- Beat and 100%'d Mega Man X3 Zero Project (SNES)

New Titles:
- R-Type Dimensions EX (Switch)* - Modernized compilation of R-Type I+II

Started NieR: Automata at home and will attempt to get its Platinum before the end of next weekend to prepare for next week's releases. Still playing Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam for on-the-go and didn't touch it over the long weekend, but I'm still making slow and steady progress.

Not sure what to expect if anything for new releases this week, but Christmas comes early for me next week.

One surprise release didn't get in the way of some great progress as I reached the goal of finishing up what I was working on before this week's releases.

Progress:
- Beat and 100%'d NieR: Automata (PS4)
- Beat and 100%'d Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam (3DS)

New titles:
- Marenian Tavern Story: Patty and the Hungry God (PS4)

This week is going to be a big one. I'd been planning for Persona 3/5 Dancing and Smash Bros. Ultimate, but found out that the Atelier Arland DX Trilogy and The Last Remnant Remastered are also due out this week, so I may get those as well. Plus, with the end of the year coming up, I may purchase a good number of games with my next paycheck to clear out the wish list a bit and not start 2019 with negative progress on the backloggery.

I'll be focusing on P3/5D and Smash Ultimate once I obtain them. For on-the-go I'm starting Book 9 of The Wheel of Time to continue progress on that series and expect to finish it before Christmas weekend.

Definitely a bit of a roller coaster of a week with all those releases I mentioned in the previous post, and yet I managed to stay on top of it all in the end.

New Titles:
- Persona Dancing: Endless Night Collection (PS4)
- Atelier Arland Series Deluxe Pack (PS4)*
- The Last Remnant Remastered (PS4)
- Gensokyo Defenders (PS4)
- Atari Flashback Classics Vol. 3 (PS4)* - Pre-ordered this months ago and it finally released/shipped/arrived
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (Switch)

Progress:
- Beat and 100%'d Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight
- Beat Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (by 100%ing Adventure Mode, at least)
- Beat and 100%'d Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight

Main focus at home is going to be balancing Smash Ultimate and playing the PS4 version of Persona 4: Dancing All Night while I'm still reading for on-the-go.

Currently nothing on the radar for this week, but surprises could still happen. Even then, I get paid at the end and still plan to get that small influx of wishlist titles mentioned last week.

Looking everything over showcased that I broke even this week as PSN had a few wishlist games on sale that I went ahead and picked up after getting paid, but a full week of playing Smash Bros. and others resulted in progress as well.

New titles:
- Xenon Valkyrie+ (PS4)
- Astebreed (PS4)
- Rainbow Moon (PS4)
- Drakengard 2 (PS2)*

Progress:
- 100%'d Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (Switch)
- Beat and 100%'d Persona 4: Dancing All Night (PS4)

Drakengard 2 was the first of several fairly rare PS2 RPGs I bought after getting paid for collection purposes, so I'm not counting those against the backlog. The rest should arrive this week along with a few other titles I'm picking up too.

I honestly don't know what my next focuses will be as I may shift gears to watching movies or try to play through something short before the end of the year, but with my brother's family visiting for Christmas, that may well cut into free time at home. For on-the-go, I finished the latest book but likely won't start anything new to focus on the Christmas event for one of the mobile games I'm still playing and won't really be "on-the-go" for the rest of the year after this week due to an upcoming Christmas vacation.

Should be a good week either way.

A somewhat quiet week overall as I took a bit of a break from playing a lot of games while several for the collection arrived early on.

New titles:
- The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age (PS2)*
- Tetris Effect (PS4)*
- Katamari Damacy Reroll (Switch)
- Punch Line (Vita)
- Drakengard (PS2)*
- Shining Tears (PS2)*
- Mega Man X: Command Mission (PS2)*
- Nekopara Vol. 1 (PS4)

Progress:
- Beat and 100%'d Nekopara Vol. 1

Got at least one arriving this week plus whatever I get for Christmas. It may still be a quiet one progress-wise as holiday things are still going on. We'll see.

One last influx of games for the year along with a fair amount of time to play through a few in order to stay somewhat ahead of the curve.

Progress:
- Beat and 100%'d Musynx (PS4)
- Beat and 100%'d Professor Layton VS Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney (3DS)
- Beat and 100%'d Punch Line (Vita)

New titles:
- Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly (Vita)
- Psychedelica of the Ashen Hawk (Vita)
- Sanctus Mortem (Steam)
- If My Heart Had Wings (Steam)
- Himawari - The Sunflower - (Steam)
- Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (Steam)*
- SoulCalibur VI (PS4)
- 428: Shibuya Scramble (PS4)

Made it through a few VNs in the past 2 weeks so I'll start Book 10 of The Wheel of Time for on-the-go once I return to work on Wednesday. For at-home I plan to start NieR sometime tomorrow.

A very light week this week as I was recovering from a back injury, but still started out ahead as I didn't pick up any new titles.

Progress:
- Beat and 100%'d Mega Man 4 Voyage (NES)

About 1/3 of the way through the current book I'm reading for on-the-go and should finish that early next week at this rate. Got a couple of hours into NieR and am hoping to play quite a bit more this week.

It's also a good week for releases courtesy of New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story on 3DS, and Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition. But, since I've already played/beaten previous versions, none of them will count against the backlog. Not sure what to expect from the PSN and eShop this week though.

Stayed on the NieR front for the week and managed to reach Ending A both on my main file and in a speedrun for a related trophy, so overall a quiet week.

Progress:
- Beat NieR (PS3)

New titles:
- Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition (PS4)*
- New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe (Switch)*
- Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey (3DS)*
- Pic-a-Pix Color (Vita)*
- Pic-a-Pix Pieces (Vita)*

No new major releases this week, but I'm looking at picking up Asdivine Hearts II and maybe YIIK: A Postmodern RPG with this week's PSN updates.

Hoping to finish most of the NieR platinum this week, if not then before the 22nd. Also looking at finishing Book 10 of The Wheel of Time in the next day or two, so that will open on-the-go for gaming again- likely for the two Pic-a-Pix games I just bought.

And hoping to start streaming my Final Fantasy V challenge run on Friday and/or Sunday to get that going for the year. Wanted to start this weekend but caught a bug that affected my voice.

Ended up slightly ahead this week as I pushed to finish what I was working on before a nicely extra heavy week at work this week so I don't expect to have a lot of gaming time.

Progress:
- 100%'d NieR (PS3)
- Beat and 100%'d Pic-a-Pix Colors (Vita)

New Titles:
- Asdivine Hearts II (PS4)
- YIIK: A Postmodern RPG (PS4)

Focusing on Pic-a-Pix Pieces for now as the commute will be the only time I really have for gaming this week. The only new release I'm expecting is Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal as the other expected one for this week got pushed back into February.

Had one of those weeks where there wasn't a lot of time during the week, but more than made up for it over the weekend.

New titles:
* Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal (PS4)*

Progress:
* Beat and 100%'d Sailor Moon Drops: Sailor Stars map (iOS)
* Beat and 100%'d Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal

Still working on Pic-a-Pix Pieces for on-the-go and hope to finish that this week. For home console I'll be working on the DLC for Burst Re:Newal, Asdivine Hearts II, and looking forward to Kingdom Hearts III and Song of Memories releasing this week.

Ended up with a good combination of expected releases, unexpected releases, and a lot of wishlist games (most of which aren't counting against the backlog) for sale this week.

New Purchases:
- Kingdom Hearts III (PS4)
- Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War (PS4)*
- Song of Memories (PS4)
- Zombie Panic in Wonderland DX (SwitchDL)*
- Gunman Clive HD Collection (SwitchDL)*
- SEGA Ages Phantasy Star (SwitchDL)*
- Planetarian (SwitchDL)
- Ikaruga (SwitchDL)*
- Picture Painting Puzzle 1000 (SwitchDL)*
- Record of Agarest War Mariage (Steam)
- Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown (PS4)

Despite all that, I made some pretty good progress too:
- Beat and 100%'d Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal Ice Queen DLC (PS4)
- Beat and 100%'d Senran KAgura Burst Re:Newal Abyssal DLC
- Beat and 100%'d Pic-a-Pix Pieces (Vita)
- Beat Song of Memories

Focusing on finishing up Song of Memories for now as I have 3.5 more routes to finish, but they're all unlocked already. For on-the-go I'm starting Book 11 of The Wheel of Time and expect that to take 2-3 weeks.

Only expecting Etrian Odyssey Nexus on 3DS for this week's releases.

Overall a quiet week where, despite a Steam sale and an indie release that caught my attention, I still broke even.

New Titles:
- Etrian Odyssey Nexus (3DS)
- Higurashi When They Cry Hou (Steam)
- Glass Masquerade (PS4)

Progress:
- 100%'d Song of Memories (PS4)
- Beat and 100%'d Glass Masquerade

Spent most of the weekend streaming Final Fantasy V to reach the point of the final job grind before the rest of the game, so there's mostly that for the next day or two until focusing on Asdivine Hearts II or one of this week's new releases. Still reading for on-the-go and I expect the book to take at least 2 more weeks to finish.

It's a good week for releases as I'm expecting Trails of Cold Steel, Dead or Alive 6, Alvastia Chronicles, and Nekopara Vol. 2.

A light week this week as I spent most of it on video editing projects, but I still managed to pull ahead by not picking up any extra games to replace the ones that got delayed.

New Titles:
- Nekopara Vol. 2 (PS4)
- Alvastia Chronicles (PS4)

Progress:
- Beat and 100%'d Nekopara Vol. 2
- Beat and 100%'d Final Fantasy V (Steam)

Still reading for on-the-go and am playing through Asdivine Hearts II at home. The only expected new release this week is Death end re;Quest since the other expected one also got delayed.

Another good week overall with some early progress followed by a short break until the weekend due to various reasons.

New Titles:
- Death end re;Quest (PS4)

Progress:
- Beat and 100%'d Asdivine Hearts II (PS4)
- Beat and 100%'d Sailor Moon Drops Dark Kingdom: Another Story (iOS)

Started World of Final Fantasy late in the week and focused pretty much on it over the weekend. Currently estimated to be about 2/3 through the main story. Wasn't able to get a lot done for reading but I'm still hoping to finish my current book by the end of this week.

Picking up Dead or Alive 6 when it releases this Friday as well as probably picking up Pic-a-Pix Classic for another quick, on-the-go title to play through between books.
