Great to see everyone doing well, for real.

GENERIC JRPG PLOT GENERATOR This entire thing is to help with inspiration, and to encourage cool ideas. This won't create a linear, ready-to-use plot. Instead, you'll come out with a plot map : a graph detailing the relationships and connections between the elements of the plot. It's up to you what...

I am deeply sad that you are wearing a fake moustache. In Movember, even! You are a disgrace! Just kidding. Man, you should dress up more. Dressing up is heaps of fun! Every 6 months we do a costume party in college and last time I went as Zack, the black power ranger. I was in the middle of a very ...

I'm not sure Druid summons work as well as skeletons, to be honest. Though Druid is one of the classes I never got to really try. If I do, I think I'd go Werewolf. However! guys look at what my amazon found guys i'm really happy this has never happened http://i.imgur.com/KjmtW0z.png

Dude, there way more rape going on all over the world than you think. It's always there. You might as well have spent your entire life living by 36 2 sex offenders, only they're not registered in the Big Sex Offender Database. It's awful, isn't it? Kind of disgusting and stomach-wrenching? Yup. Rest...

There's a movie of that thing coming out? I read the book because apparently it was one of those nerd holy grail things, and it's... alright. It isn't excellent. It seems to follow the same model as Dune, where the first book is an exciting adventurous archetypal story that grabs the reader and then...

So we evolved from monkeys, right? Well, if you wanna be picky about it, in English monkey refers to either new world primates or non-hominid old world primates, so no. Technically we evolved from apes, we are apes, our children are going to be apes, and their children, and so on forever. :) basica...

I was just thinking how I wish The Gnasher would come back and continue his articles on creating games. I was a HUGE fan of the one about creating a dungeon. Let's Create a Dungeon in VX! This is epic as all hell and could definitely find a new home if slightly updated Aaaw thanks :^_^ that was buc...

I was learning C++ the other day for work, and realised the first programming I've ever done was in a very old Mac app called "Game Maker" (different from the more famous Windows Game Maker) and the very first contact I had with object-oriented programming was VX's Ruby. Which just demonst...

So I need help thinking of a costume to wear to a costume party. It needs to be something I can make at home. The theme is "characters", so pretty much any kind of costume goes – though I don't want to go too much in the videogame direction since few people can recognize the characters, un...

You are, honestly.

Now I want to try again, and I'll basically be starting from scratch, so to speak.

I really admire this. How much commitment are you willing to put in this?

Short answer: yes.

Long answer: hell yes.

I tried once an internet-based second life and it just got me more and more depressed.
You probably aren't going to believe me, but a real life is many times more fun and interesting.
It's much harder to have, though. You gotta be willing to work for it.

Every hypothesis in that list says that the "zombies" would go back to "basic instincts." Fighting is not a human basic instinct. At least, any competent form of fighting isn't. In my view the worst that could happen is that everyone is forced to learn kung fu to defend themselve...

I think it follows the same principles as movie music.

You have series like Star Wars and Indiana Jones. These series reuse the music to create a feel of continuity and relation.
Final Fantasy games would be 34% less good if they each had different victory fanfares.

Gah, I don't like mascots at all.

It's because of you people who keep buying these games that they exist. It's all your fault.
And don't say you buy them because the games are good, the games could be just as good without plump men in mustaches.

(Stone me to death now)
